The music composed by Michael Zerang is a part of a larger score that was created for the REDMOON THEATER stage adaptation of The Ballad of Frankie and Johnny, which had its world premier at the Steppenwolf Studio Theater in Chicago from May to July, 1997. The play was conceived by Blair Thomas and Jim Lasko and written and directed by Jim Lasko in collaboration with the performers; Leslie Buxbaum, David Engel, David O’Donnell, Martha Schoenberg, Tria Smith, Rebecca Tennison and Blair Thomas.
